Cons: Staff too busy during holiday peak season. Lobby is overcrowded with tourists taking photos with Christmas lights from 9am-11pm daily, which I think it’s a terrible experience for guests that stay there. Feel like I sleep in a public park. Elevators is so outdated and sometime don’t work, I was trapped in elevator twice because the door did not open on my floor and I have to rely on other people from other floor to call the elevator to get me out and walk down. The area being too close to bourbon street is very chaotic, feel unsafe at night, not recommend for families with small children. Sezerac bar too busy, can’t even get a drink. The room itself is also outdated, bed too high and I got rooms on 2nd floor, there are no view at all, only dirty rooftops. Pros: room cleaning service is excellent! in room dining is excellent, on-site restaurants are delicious! Good vibes with live music.

The Christmas decorations were my absolute favorite. I would come back again just for them. They lifted my spirits every time I went to the lobby.

This hotel is beautiful. We stayed over Christmas and the lobby is a must see. The Christmas decorations are amazing. Hotel is clean and the staff was both friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Holiday Visit
The Teddy Bear tea was fantastic. Check in was a nightmare. My room wasn’t ready until 6 and I had 2 small children with me. Valet brought the car as we were leaving and we had no help with the bags and we had to go find the key. Over all the room was grossly overpriced and they didn’t have enough people working. We complained all the way up to management and got a small credit for some of the inconvenience. The Christmas season is so busy but it’s not like this all the time. I have had other trips that were pleasant.

The staff were great!! Beautiful at Christmas time. This is the time of year everyone wants to see the Roosevelt I get it but our room wasn’t ready on time. (3pm) It still wasn’t ready at 4 then we didn’t receive a text when it was ready so that was difficult with little kids. Other than that the stay was great for two nights.
