Very nice little hotel. We were in TO for a concert. Parking was not an issue and the subway was a 1 minute walk. Perfect for a quick trip to TO. The room was very spacious and clean. Perfect

This is a perfect little hotel for a night or two stay. Well appointed, met our needs perfectly. Very tiny room but it had everything we needed. Noise from nearby pub was minimal on our stay and nothing the air conditioner didn’t cover. Location was wonderful. Staff were great. Bit tricky navigating where the front desk was (very close by but different entrance) but once we did it was fine. We felt very secure and safe. No complaints.

This place was nicer than I imagined. It was clean, secure, and had a nice pub beside. The night I happened to mosey on in, there was a chess club going on at the pub. Met some interesting folk there before being cut off from the bar-my only complaint is that the young bar manager made me start drinking water after having what she thought was too much beer. Oh well, just trying to avoid a lawsuit I presume. Anyways, I was able to walk everywhere from this hotel, and parked my vehicle in a near by city lot. My car was fine the whole time in that lot. There are some homeless types around, but I enjoy that and was glad to be in a cultural neighbourhood-so to speak. I will be returning to this hotel in the future when I need a great, cheap place to stay in the city. Thanks!

Great room, historic feel.
Great place, historic building that serves as a hotel. room was comfortable, quiet and, well maintained. Room I had was on top floor, had a skylight, which I was not expecting but was a nice touch. Located about a block away from the subway station which makes it convenient if you need to connect to downtown or the rest of town.

Beautiful old house in the Annex. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Great location near Spadina subway station. Lots to see and do via TTC, or just walking either direction along Bloor St. Parking behind very reasonably priced. Check-in time is limited, we had to change plans to be able to check in.
