Disappointing
The room was very spacious and at first look clean but later we discovered there was trash and food underneath the pull out sofa from a previous guest. Service also was disappointing. I called the front desk and asked for clean towels and the lady said she would ask housekeeping to bring some up but they never did.

Property needs updated and better cleaning Not enough bath and hand towels to be replaced each day. Walls in rooms needed to be patched and painted. Carpet needs cleaned and replaced in some areas.

The overall stay was good. The pool was out of order with no notice on website about its status. The room had sections that looks like they had need repaired and still had spackle marks. The toilet would occasionally make a filling noise but not enough to wake you during the night.

Very Disappointing Experience
Was very disappointed with the overall stay. Even when staying at a budget property, one still expects the advertised basics to be available. Room was well outdated. Drawers in the dresser kept sliding out to block the path between the bed. Shower door would not close - and obviously so. Fire water sprinkler in the ceiling was covered with a small plastic bag. (Guess that probably wouldn't have worked in the case of a fire.) Front desk staff was rude. Checkout was extremely slow. Where's the management / ownership? There are plenty of other hotels in the immediate area for my next stay.

The continental breakfast was disappointing. The coffee was barely warm, the scrambled eggs were awful; they went in the trash, the waffles were undercooked, and the biscuits were tough. Not a happy start to the day.

The room was spacious and it was convenient to my destination. The room however was not in good shape. I have to say, the bathroom, sheets, and towels and surfaces/counters were clean. However, the curtains were broken with holes in them and dirty, there were visible spots on the headboards and walls, there were paint chips missing all over, there was a picture missing on the wall and the two bolts where it was still there, the drawers on the TV stand didn't shut, the phone didn't work to call the desk, the toilet didn't flush and when it was "fixed" I was told, "it works better." There were two times I stood at the front desk and no one was around. However, the staff who were working were all helpful and pleasant. I can't say anything bad about my interactions. The hotel rooms just need some paint and cleanliness.

The room refrigerator didn’t have a freezer. I require medication that needs to remain frozen until opened, then refrigerated. After some discussion, the management consented to keep it in their freezer. I really appreciated that. I have done this in several Choice Hotels that didn’t have a freezer in the room fridge in the past.

Great place for sleeping & then going out & about
The hotel was sufficient for coming and going. Bed was super comfy, pillows awesome and the AC worked really well. Not humidity in room that made it uncomfortable.

I stayed in two different rooms, one smelled like dogs and was dirty the door loose so as to easy break in the other was a little cleaner but floors were dirty in bathroom. I had a very hard time getting clean towels I personally told housekeeping and the front desk still no clean towels then I asked the front desk for some towels and they did not have any.

The pool area is dirty and ran down there were pieces of weave braids floating in the pool and hair all over the ground by the chairs and tables. Then trying to shower after the pool the bathrooms are very run down. There was this red stuff by the sink I’m not sure what it was. Later that night we pulled the blankets back to get in the bed and there was blood on the sheets and not a little blood like a lot! My husband called to tell the front desk they immediately told us we could have another room which was great so we packed up all are things to go to the new room, mind you it’s midnight. We get to the new room and no blood stained sheets but the sheets we’re very worn like had fuzzies in them that’s how worn out they were, the furniture was really dusty, the curtains were dirty and worn down. The whole place needs to be revamped. Check out was at 11AM. It was 10:59 and I was gathering my things to walk out and the phone to the room rang. I thought it was the front desk calling to ask us if this new room was ok last night but no she was asking me if we were checking out or needed to add another night! I said isn’t checkout at 11 she told me yes it’s 11:00. I was at the front desk to check out by 11:05 and told her that it took me a few extra minutes to leave because I had to fix my things to fit back in my bag since the night before I had to throw in everything abruptly since we were moved to a new room. I’ll never stay here again !

The property is old run down and had a lot of people hanging in the parking lot drinking and smoking and being loud until late at night. It didn't feel safe either.

The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the in-room refrigerator is good-sized. The free breakfast had a good variety of tasty foods. The pool was nice. The wi-fi was slow, and there was no place for recycling
