Stunning Mountain Side Home | Perfect for Families

Spacious three-level duplex located high on a secluded residential street in West Vail, Highland Meadows - just 1 mile from the Cascade lift and 1.5 and 2 miles from Lionshead and Vail Village respectively. Beautiful setting against a spectacular wooded mountainside.

This private and serene mountain home is tucked into the mountainside and has all the comforts of contemporary living, where you can enjoy mountain and National Forest views. There's plenty of room for a couple of families or groups to gather, with the spacious living room and a beautiful fireplace. Enjoy the private hot tub and grill overlooking the valley from the outdoor deck.

Note:
- 4-wheel drive is HIGHLY recommended to access this home in the winter. Roads can be very slick when covered in snow. While the plow does come through, snow still poses a challenge with a 2-wheel drive vehicle.
Make yourself comfortable in this vacation home, which features a fireplace. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.

Not what I expected

The location of this house is excellent and the hot tub is nice, but the inside of the house is terrible. It was built probably in the 70's with no updating. The house sleeps 12 but on the main level where you would gather, it is so small not even enough room for people to sit. The kitchen is so small that only 1 person can be in it at a time. No room to gather and eat together. The pictures are very deceiving. The carpet on the main level is so stained up and dirty. Not a relaxing atmosphere for a vacation!
