We had a great time, and the staff was all very nice. They have a beautiful area where you can get a drink at the lounge and sit outside by the water. The restaurant food was delicious, and the wait staff was great. Not sure about the pool because it was too busy to use during our stay. The freeway is right there, so there is a lot of traffic noise during the night.
The person who checked us in only set our key up for one night, so on the second day, we got locked out. We had just returned from the lake and were wet and dirty, with all of our wet towels and bags, so that was frustrating, but they fixed it pretty quickly. The AC unit in the room was so loud, and it kept turning on and off throughout the night, so we didn't sleep that well during our stay. It sounded like an airplane was landing in our room every time it turned on. I'm a heavy sleeper, so it takes a lot to wake me up, and it was loud enough to wake me up every hour when it turned back on. It was 100 degrees outside, so we needed it, otherwise I would have just shut it off. There were two chairs in the room as well that had a bunch of gross stains on them that looked like they had been there for a while.
Overall not too bad of a stay, but I'm not sure if we'll be back for the price.
