It’s a 3-star hotel, please keep in mind this review is based on a 3-star hotel.
The hotel is small cause space is limited in Venice, but the bathroom size is decent enough. The breakfast options are limited, but the American coffee is good. Every employee we interacted with was great.
The A.C. was not turned on due to a city ordinance, so you had to open the windows to get fresh air. But the problem with this was that mosquitoes got in the room, leaving my husband and I with plenty of bites. The hotel could easily place screens on the windows, however we did not see a single window throughout the city with a screen. So maybe the city doesn’t allow screens?
Hotels are expensive in Venice due to its small size, and we didn’t feel like breaking the bank for a hotel here since we still had a couple more cities to visit on our Italian trip. So for the price we paid the hotel was a fair deal.
Bonus points for the hotel - we were allowed to leave our luggage after checking out at no extra cost, this was super helpful as we still had plans to explore the city on our last day there.
