Room floors and base boards very dirty. The hotel was participating in Night of Lights, which elwere beautiful, however they had public activities at the main entrance. Who thought that was a good idea. People blocking guest access to doors and try leaving in our vehicle. Peopld blocking the driveway and valet. We also found out they were not going to honor our reservation on Open Table made in August for Xmas Day. Panic set in! One of the wait staff did accomandate us and straighten everything out. Probably will not stay at this property again.

We really enjoyed our weekend visit to St. Augustine. Our balcony room had a great view especially to enjoy the Christmas lights and the trolley and horse carriages going by. The front desk staff were so helpful. And the beds were so comfortable.

All of the staff were exceptionally friendly, and the location couldn't be better! Valet parking was easy and fast. The on site restaurant was good for breakfast, with unique choices and well cooked. The only two potential concerns are noise (if you are staying on the ocean front), the main street is very noisy, but the room was insulated well enough. The only thing we heard in the night was loud motorcycle exhaust. Also, because this is an old building, the ceilings were a bit low, but that wasn't a huge deal. Overall an excellent stay!
