Nice place off the beaten path. A few outdoor games, and a pool with a jacuzzi was a plus. The access to the beach was a challenge

All the rooms had beach views. Easy access to the beach. Friendly staff. Even a fire pit to feel like a real outdoorsy stay. Amazing sunset. Make sure to bring your meals, you won't want to leave and there aren't any convenience/grocery stores nearby.

Older motel, rooms were very clean. Staff only present until 8 PM. We had a noise issue but no one to report it to after 8 PM. We had no issues the first night, just the second night. Either the walls are super thin or both of us had the balcony door open--it sounded like they were in our room--whistling?!

Nice location and rooms have a beach view. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good continental breakfast starting at 8 AM. Heated indoor pool was nice but we didn't bring suits. Kitchenette is great for extended stays.

The beach is less than 50 feet away from the motel and no other building are there. Feels like having few miles private beach that belongs only to you. Amazing sunset!

We are very simple people who usually van camp every time we travel. We splurged this time and would do so on this place again and again! Taylor was so sweet and accommodating. The property was quite and clean and the beach is a short jaunt away! Even the "ground floor" rooms have a wonderful view of the ocean 💙 The rooms were cozy and the kitchenettes are thoughtfully stocked. Again, we are simple people and enjoy simple treasures!

(1) We liked that they had cottages available with covered parking for one vehicle, and also that meant the cottages had no adjoining walls or overhead noise. We liked that the cottages had bedrooms so this was great for our two groups stay. For our group we would have liked more firm mattresses, but the softer mattresses were acceptable. We also liked that we had a full size refrigerator in the kitchen. (2) The new owners are working very hard to upgrade the aging facilities. They are working on better access to the beach to make beach access more user friendly for elders and physically challenged folks. Also, they are working towards upgrading pool facilities and aging sewer facilities. If we ever get back up to their area again, I would look forward to staying at the Silver Surf Motel.

Waterfront view from balcony was amazing. The breakfast was good. There were so many great touches (videos and books to borrow, microwave popcorn to go with movie, tether all). The hotel is working on upgrades—fresh paint and new flooring). Friendly staff.

Great location! Beach access a couple of hundred feet from the hotel. It is a beach hotel, so it is older, but the room furnishings are beautiful and newer. If you or someone you are with is handicapped, make sure to request the first floor: no elevator and no wheelchair walkway make it less desirable for someone in a wheelchair or using a walker. The breakfast and service is great! If you and your party can climb the stairs, request the 2nd floor ocean view. It is worth the slightly higher price!

I loved that this place was right on the beach! You could hear the waves and watch the sunset from the balcony. The floors always had sand, even when we first got there but I guess that it hard to get rid of when you are on a beach. Bring a noise machine to sleep with because you can hear your neighbors. The pool was nice and staff was always super helpful. Breakfast was great and they also offered snacks and hot chocolate in the lobby in the evenings. Older place but well maintained. I would recommend.

Beautiful Ocean Front
This was a lovely place to stay, right on the ocean. However, the motel was a bit run down. It was right on the ocean so I think it would be hard to maintain. The room was old, but clean. It was a few miles into the town so you would have to drive to go get a bite to eat.
