Will not return.
The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke and at time could smell marijuana. Many of the rooms are dedicated to long term stays. Noisy through out the night. The front desk checked our room out early in the morning and housekeeping tried to come into our room twice within 5 min.

We initially had an issue with our room not having any hot water for the shower. When we returned from our day out, it was still not resolved and the heat in the room was not working. Patricia was very helpful and got us moved to a different room which was wonderful. She went above and beyond helping resolve the issue. Thank you Patricia

Short-staffed with someone who did not seem very experienced. It took over 20 minutes to get checked in. Our room had been used. There was hair all over the sheets. The only available rooms to move to were queens size beds and we needed a king, so we asked for new sheets and changed them ourselves. after all our issues with the room, there was no suggestions to help or reduce the cost of our room.

Nice hotel; enjoyed the kitchenette and the workout room. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The neg: The hotel close to an elevated busy highway that does create a lot of road noise thru the night. Also, a major issue on every sat morning (6ish): The church BLAST music for some parking lot workout. Apparently, they refuse to lower the volume and is an ongoing problem. If staying Friday night, make sure you don't face the church. (I guess they don't believe in 'Love thy neighbor')

Very Disappointing
I have stayed at many Candlewood Suites and have always been pleased. I was very disappointed in our stay at this one in York, Pa. There was no fry pan when I tried to make dinner. When I tried to make breakfast the next day, the stove and toaster did not work. Also the bathroom door did not close and the towel rack feel off the wall! I would not stay there again.

It was a good stay overall. The night person didn’t have much help and had to grab things for customers that wasn’t in the room. The night cleaning person just was sitting on her phone doing nothing at all while the front desk person did everything. She was on her phone from the time I checked in until returning in later on that night in the same spot.
