Stopped two nights, one on a package. Very comfortable hotel, nice rooms, friendly staff.
Couple of observations: only one chair in a room for two people, loads of space for a second.
Nowhere to put your open suitcases, except on the floor, what happened to good old fashioned luggage stands?
Food very good, especially breakfast buffet, but…
I asked for a little bit of garlic butter for a steak, it initially caused some concern as there was no option for it on the menu, however “the chef has managed to find you some”
It was a small quenelle, and a bit in a small pot.
I found the next morning they had charged me £4.50 for it!
They should offer ‘Cafe de Paris butter’ as standard!
But the steak was excellent!
We will stop again.
