This was my second stay at this Novotel, now Hyatt on Jan 1, 2025. My first stay was fantastic that I wanted to have the second when I got a chance. But the second experience was not too great, due to remodeling. Dust and construction-related materials/odor. The room was comfortable and spacious. I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, it provided a big variety of delicious food. The hotel is located next to the airport train station and close to the airport. The shuttle service was good. I wish my next stay would be as great as the first one, without dust and odor. In addition, not sure the practice of Hyatt would change the characteristics of its original Novotel. Sometimes, I feel Hyatt is more pretentious while Novotel is more practical. If my understanding were correct, I doubt I would return to the hotel.

I booked this hotel because I had a long layover in Taipei. The hotel is right next to the airport and has a free shuttle to the airport for convenience. The staff are professional and accommodating. I enjoyed my brief experience in Taiwan!

Excellent, but beware of mold in pool area

The "Novetel" Hyatt Regency was excellent service, food, room. The only reason I did not give it a 5 star across is that there clearly was a mold problem in the gym and pool areas. I know that mold is hard to control in humid countries - but it surprised me the extent to which it could be seen (including attempts to cover it up with paint). If you have respiratory issues, allergy to mold, not good idea for prolonged stay. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.

IT's a quick stay.. after long flying arriving late at night, it'll be nice to have a sign to let us know we shouldn't go to Novotel(turning right), we shall turn left to go to "Hyatt Regency"??... for the price we paid, it's convenient, simple, basic but clean, convenient. bed is a bit thin and hard. After construction, hope it'll be even better.

Nice and convenience Hotel!

Hotel is clean while some renovation happening. Only problem is carpet floor in the room and hall way that is difficult to move my luggages smoothly. Every thing else is perfect. Staff is helpful and nice. Will stay again.
