Georgian grand hotel. Hotel has done well to preserve the grand features. This is one for those who like character to a building. Staff were excellent. Service was fast and efficient. Lots of nooks and crannies to sit in with loads of old style leather oxblood sofas and chairs throughout- so comfortable after dinner drinking. Food was lovely. Only requests would be for fresh juices at breakfast rather than concentrate/ squash and a scrambled egg option. Very nice stay - will return.

I liked how everything was close by

Wedding hotel - easy to get transport to venue - great sized rooms for getting ready in. Bar stayed open late for us on wedding night for a friends and family.

Overnight stay as it was not too far away from Mancheser airport . Used the spa in the evening which was good . Would stay again.

Lovely place to stay for a few days. Only drawback were the uneven floors in the rooms

Great stay with friendly staff. Good central location. Priced well. Small but clean and had what you needed in the room
