I really liked the room and the hotel itself. The staff were very friendly and efficient. There were a few drug users and homeless i encountered surging a couple blocks while walking to the restaurant though. Area didn't feel very safe.

What a fantastic location for shopping and dining along Whyte Street! There's an amazing Mexican restaurant right next door, bars and cocktail spots just a few steps away. In fact you fan find dining that ranges from $ to $$$ within a few metres. Our room was excellent -- except for the air conditioning, which no amount of troubleshooting by maintenance staff could ever seem to resolve during out visit. However, the front desk did offer to move us if we had wanted. Luckily it was cool so we could keep the window open. Great amenities in-room including a Nespresso-style coffee machine, bath robe and toiletries. Our Expedia VIP rate included breakfast and free valet parking, which made it a really convenient stay. If you come, be sure to check out the giant farmer's market on Saturdays, and the High Level Trolley across to downtown Edmonton as well. Both are just a few steps away.
