Broadwater is the gateway to the Margaret river wine region

Whilst still remaining close to Busselton, a major regional town with 7 day shopping, you are on the gateway to Western Australia's famous Margaret River wine growing region, The Presidential Bungalow and Broadwater Beach Resort are the perfect getaway spot at any time of year.

The premier attractions of the south west are close at hand, with the famous wineries, restaurants and galleries of the Margaret River region only a short drive away, many with suitable area's for children to play or romantic spots with views over vines, lakes and manicured gardens.

The Margaret River Wine Region is just a few minutes from the Presidential Bungalow. Visitors will find vineyards dotting the picturesque hillsides throughout the region. Each has its own style and ambience. In all, there are more than 200 vineyards and 80 wineries - a remarkable number considering that wine was first produced in the region just 30 years ago. Character and quality can be found in fruit-intense chardonnays, rich Semillons, robust Cabernets, soft Merlots and other varietal wines and blends.

Highly skilled chefs have, like the winemakers, been attracted to the region by the prospect of working with high-quality produce. You may also have the opportunity of seeing the artisans at work. Take time out to explore the region's natural environment and you will discover peace and tranquillity.

Enjoy a stroll on one of the many pristine beaches or take a bushwalk in the magnificent unspoilt forests. The Presidential Bungalow is located on the spectacular Geograph Bay. The coastline also provides for excellent surfing and diving. Keen fishers will find plenty of great fishing spots including the spectacular Busselton jetty; having been at 2km in length, it's the longest jetty in the southern hemisphere and a tourist attraction in its own right.

Family Fun all within a short drive from the Presidential Bungalow

The Busselton region is an ideal destination for families, offering a range of different activities, attractions, tours, and restaurants to suit the whole family. Geographe Bay's beaches from Busselton through to Dunsborough provide calm, safe water for families to enjoy. Water activities such as snorkelling, swimming, boating, fishing, body boarding and diving are popular in the area for this reason.

Very poor presentation
The unit is in very poor condition and had a light fitting hanging out of the wall with broken glass still attached BBQ was filthy and ensuite had a da.p stale smell Very disappointing for the amount paid and I think it would need a full Reno to bring it up to standard of its name of Presidential Suite

Photos are deceiving.
Photos of location of unit is deceiving as it almost looks like you are next to the swimming pool on the photos. For the price the unit needs a modern redo, and needs to be painted. Otherwise it was awesome. Location was great. Thank you.

No wifi for the whole week holiday. Tv in main bedroom didn't work for 2 days and spa bath 2 days. 1 lounge had 1 leg missing and stacked up with cardboard. When spa was working had to fill and clean 6 times to be able to use it. Washing machine leaking last 3 days. Wayne maintenance man works for the sebel went out of his way to try and fix stuff employee of the month. Unit wasn't cleaned dusty skirting blinds walls marked. Wasn't worth the money

Has everything you could want for a family holiday
The property was very clean and well appointed. Very spacious, comfortable and lots of amenities and quality appliances. TV's and aircon in every bedroom, nice big bath in master bedroom, pod coffee and even a popcorn maker. Nice and quiet too. The indoor pool was well loved by the kids and plenty to do in ìndoor kids rooms if the weather was wet. Short path walk to the beach behind the property and path all the way along the beach for cycling. Very close to town for visits to Jetty and playgrounds and neighbouring activities in Dunsborough such as the Country Life animal farm and Ngligi Cave. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Will be back- suitable for all seasons.

Perfect winter getaway
Nice 4 night stay with friends and family. The heated pool was especially useful with the kids during the cold days. Clean and well stocked apartment. A frying pan would be useful tho. Would stay again.

Bed configuration should be no more than 6 adults and 2 children.
The bungalow could do with a make over, looks very tired and dated. Complex is lovely. Windows need a good clean inside and out. More towels to accommodate the amount of people staying.

Unit standard poor
We recently stayed at the The Sebel, Busselton. Whilst the hotel facilities ie pool, spa, squash courts were good and the gardens well maintained, I can't say the same for the Accommodation. Considering the dollar value charged, what is being offered is not on par of where it should be and what is photographed in promotional material. On our first evening, the BBQ ignition didn't work. No gas lighter or matches in room. Reception unable to assist. Outdoor BBQ light didn't work. Whole area of patio could do with a scrub down and spray for spiders and insects, inside the premises as well. Peg basket full of broken pegs and cloths line covered in webs along with the outdoor setting. Inside, blinds in master and loft bedroom broken. Couch so uncomfortable one is almost unable to sit on it. Airconditioning in lounge didn't work. Initially, we couldnt get the TV in lounge to work til we worked out that the remotes for master bedroom and lounge had been swapped. Towels supplied were appalling and need to be binned along with the dirty rug in lounge room. The whole unit did not feel clean and was notable on surfaces such as dining and outdoor table. No cleaning supplies in kitchen. For a unit that sleeps 6, there are two wine glasses and two glass tumblers. Several mis-matched coffee mugs supplied are chipped. Need to get rid of the 1980s style cup and saucers that nobody uses and supply decent coffee mugs. Also no compendium for facilites within Unit or grounds. Loft room bedroom wardrobe, the wire drawers are unable to be used as they don't pull out. Fridge temperature was not particularly cold and had to be continually adjusted. When we tried to book a squash court, we were told that as the Unit was privately owned it couldn't be done. How the internal workings between privately controlled rooms and Sebel owned rooms shouldn't be a consideration or concern for a paying guest. In all, the Unit needs a deep clean and a clean out as currently it is not the standard it should be.
