I really enjoyed this property, it’s right in the middle of everything but somewhat quiet and private at the same time. The property is excellent, the staff is excellent, and the breakfast is amazing.

Very pleasant staff, nice rooms, lots of options in breakfast buffet, great location across from the beach. There is a nice pool overlooking the beach so it’s very nice view overall. Walking distance to a restaurant called Diner 66 that has western options (mashed potatoes and gravy!). The beach walk is beautiful as well. We rented scooters through the hotel so it was simple to arrange plus they helped arrange transportation to the airport and then from Hanoi airport to Ha Long. I am glad we stayed at Serene Hotel for our 7 night stay.

Dirty windows to the point you can’t see outside,also front staff tried to keep my deposit, she said I need to see the receipt in order to give you back the deposit, I went off and sure enough I got my deposit,

Toilet leaking. TV system is backdated need to use 2 remote control. The room is not soundproof, can hear the sound outside. Location is good. Just opposite the beach. But, there is no good restaurant beside the hotel.

Just across the beach and pool was nice. Staff were super helpful on getting taxis, recommending restaurants and assisting on trips. Near restaurants and bars and walking distance to convenient stores.

Good stay. Across the street from the beach and korean town. Food was fair. Aside from being close to the beach this hotel is not entirely special/fascinating

Ocean front location, plenty of room in a family suite. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of fresh fruits and variety of food. The room was nice and clean, but the bathroom design was bad where water would filled up the floor after every shower. That was the only bad thing about this hotel. Otherwise, everything was great. Also note, there is construction going on at the hotel next door so there isn’t pretty view on the right side of the hotel.
