For $70 AUD a night you can’t expect to much can you? So don’t be disappointed when the spa and the rooftop pool has been photoshopped to look amazing but is far from it when compared to other places around. The room was clean and worked, however the noise from the Karaoke bar 200m down the road rattled the windows till early hours of the morning, so don’t expect a restful night. Breakfast was very disappointing, not catering for westerners at all other than the option to get sone fried eggs or omelette which was ok. Situated a block back from the beach it’s convenient but I wouldn’t recommend it unless your on a strict budget and aren’t to fussy on staying in the motel and it’s only a place to sleep.

Henry the manager was excellent sorted out all our tours for a very good price and kate the receptionist was also very friendly n helpful our room was excellent with a sea view shame about opposite building between hotel n beach .Breakfast you had a good choice something for everyone very good value for money

A nice option with friendly and hardworking staff . Hard to find fault it’s just a bit tired and worn in places and the rooms could benefit from a refresh . Tv has cable channels and English movies . Excellent Bargain Hotel Near Beach
Room was clean, comfortable, well-maintained and reasonably priced. A/C worked, elevator was fast, food was good. Laundry service was quick. Room phone often didn't work, so couldn't call front desk, housekeeping, or room service. Great view from rooftop pool. Location was just a block from the beach.

I loved my stay of 20 nights at Sunny Oceon hotel.It was perfect for my requirements being close to shops,ATM and the beach.Every member of staff always had a smile and made me feel extremely welcome.It was so easy to get along with anyone in this hotel but for me Kelly was amazing in the Sky Bar and John on the main door.Room was very clean and comfortable with daily cleaning carried out with the minimal disruption to my stay.My review would definitely be a massive 10 out of 10!!!!

Great staff - friendly and helpful! Great location, close to beach and dining. Laundromat next door! Only complaint is that in the morning (6am) one of the street vendor blast their music really loud the whole time we stayed. I realize this is NOT the fault of the hotel but worth noting. We loved our hotel and the receptionist, Kate, was very helpful in giving directions and suggestions on fun things to do - especially the huge Son Tra night market next to the Dragon Bridge! We highly recommend!! The neighborhood was great for walking- in the middle of everything and one block from the beach.
