Compare Ski Hotels in Fairlawn

I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Indepencence, OH one night and it was a great stay. The hotel is in good shape, the room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was in great shape with a nice tiled floor and granite vanity top and well ventilated. Everything worked well. Also, they had a good breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal and other typical stuff. The only thing that needs work is some of the carpeting in the stairwells could use replacing. Otherwise, I was impressed with the place and it was a great value.

I didn’t love the lighting in the bathroom mirror. lol other than that didn’t have anything negative to say about the place. Comfortable, clean, everything worked! Only interacted with one employee at the front desk but was nice and friendly and gave us a cookie. lol didn’t use the restaurant or pools so can’t comment on that.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Appeared dated, could use some refreshing. There wasn't any utensils, cups and plates, or cooking items. No breakfast offered. The staff was friendly. Overall it was a decent value, if I am in the area again I would stay again.

We had an incredible stay, very fun, and the room was amazing. The only thing I would mention, from one housekeeper to another is make sure you’re checking those coffee pots. I went to make coffee this morning and there were coffee pods in the tray wet from the people before. It did not bother us but I know some people may not take kindly to it. Other than that housekeeping is doing a fantastic job. Hotel staff is extremely friendly, and breakfast was wonderful. Thanks for everything and we will absolutely be back!
