Close to Hydro which is reason for staying here for the first time. Hotel is excellent, lovely room, staff friendly and breakfast fantastic. Never used gym or pool facilities but fully intend using this same hotel in future and will try it out then

Argyle Hotel Glasgow- ideal stay.
Lovely reception staff. Informative and supportive. Rooms impressed us. We’d definitely recommend to friends as location and accommodation were well priced and very comfortable. Facilities vg and pool beautiful.

Perfectly decent stay although a little dated in regards to furniture and bathroom design. Pillows weren't particularly comfortable and were small. Check-in was good but as we were there for a family event elsewhere we didn't use much else.

Stay was great, stayed 2 nights but each night were seperate bookings, girl at the reception combined the 2 bookings so i could be in the same room for the 2 nights. Only downside was the aircon was either weak or not working properly in the room. But i was barely in the room long enough for it to effect my overall stay. Room was big and not too expensive.

A couple of negatives here; the hot-tub (a major factor in the decision to book here) was barely tepid and not comfortable to sit in and wheelchair access while available is not the easiest. However, the jewel in the Argyle's crown is the staff. Every member of staff we encountered during our visit was exceptional. Attentive and genuine, they made our stay more enjoyable. The food was very good too, mostly traditional fare, with generous portions and not over-priced. Our room was exceptionally clean and well appointed with a large comfortable bed, iron, kettle etc. And finally, breakfast, an extremely comprehensive hot and cold buffet affair. Again, attentive staff on hand giving good orientation and ensuring the buffet was constantly refreshed and topped up. Overall, great staff and good value.

All the staff we encountered, without exception, were welcoming, helpful and able to help with any queries. The hotel in general was very clean Our bathroom door would not shut. This was reported and we were told it would be dealt with after our stay. If we return to Glasgow we would stay there again.

Absolutely amazing room. The picture do not do it justice. You can't tell from the pictures but it's a proper appointment over two floors. The bed is amazing! So comfortable and huge. The staff are brilliant.
