Great except for the mattress
I’ve stayed here a few times with my husband. We love the pools, the beach, and not needing to leave the property. They have almost everything and there is not need to leave. On one side of the adult pool is a server; however the 2 days we were at the pool she never crossed to the south side of the pool. Our main disappointment was the bed in room 434. It was terrible. You can clearly see it is worn out and sinking in the middle. My hubby and I woke up each morning with back pain. The pull out couch was too small for us so that wasn’t an option. Our meals and drinks were good. Staff is friendly. The spa staff are also very friendly and I enjoyed my massage from Fernando. We’ll be back but we won’t be sleeping on that mattress again.

Moldy rooms, paint bubbling off of ceiling due to mold. Rude service by most staff. We have been to this hotel on the past and it was amazing, but clearly they have let it get run down and don’t treat their guests well at all now. Very disappointed in this stay, I will not be coming back.

Like usual, the Lago Mar does not disappoint! The beach is the best around. We have stayed here many times in the past and it is great to see the familiar faces around the resort. The pool is amazing and we had two wonderful rooms with amazing views. We can’t choose anywhere else to visit when we are planning our vacation.

Happily greeted by staff as I entered. Check in and parking was a breeze. Parking was always amble. Absolutely stunning well maintained property situated on the beach! Chairs and umbrellas were set up and plentiful by the ocean. Clean large comfortable room with balcony. Room service was exceptional and prompt. We will be coming back again.
