I really love the location of this hotel, it’s close by everything you need. Restaurants, shops, everything is just a walking distance to where you need to go. The hotel itself is just OK, you can tell it needs some updating or renovating. The lobby is really clean, and so is the floor below that where it brings you right to the beach. It’s very clean and it smells really nice. I wasn’t too crazy about the rooms, they do need some updating.

Location was great. I would have liked the beach chairs and umbrella to be included in the amenities and not having to pay extra. Our door was always a pain to open and housekeeping knew and just gave us ways to try to get it open. Beach access was nice.

We asked for fresh sheets and towels on our second day (sheets felt sandy) and that request never came to fruition. We did call the front desk for towels and they brought them up promptly as well as provided us with an extra water (3 instead of the 2 provided daily). Reception was sweet but getting a clear explanation of how incidentals vs resort fees plus parking fees and when/how they are paid was not explained adequately. Some bartenders seemed more interested in talking to their friends than serving. Resort fees do not cover beach umbrellas or beach chairs thankfully chairs were rent 1 get 1 ($29 each usually). Food at the pool was pretty good and the servers were attentive. The cooled & scented towels handed out at said pool are a nice touch. Leaving towels on chairs at the pool to hold them is stated to not be allowed but seems arbitrarily enforced. Otherwise well maintained, beautiful property without being pretentious, easily walkable boardwalk with range of prices of food and entertainment/shopping. Activities on the beach seem overpriced ($95 for 30 minutes on a jet ski) but Hilton covers paddleboard and kayak from 10am-12pm (weather permissible).

Good place to stay. We Paid for an upgraded ocean view room and we were put on the 7th floor north side of the building where all the balconies are above the parking garage low roof. Above the roof is all the Roof top Air conditioning condenser units with extremely LOUD fans and hot air coming. Florida is already hot in the summer and was probably 5-10 degrees hotter on the balcony. Highly recommend asking for a room that faces south (pool) instead.

Over-priced, very average property. Not sure this property lives up to the Hilton standards. Nickel and dimed for everything. On top of an expensive room rate, you pay a resort fee, $29/day to valet (I was told no self parking), you have to rent a beach lounge chair. $251 for a poolside “cabana”, which was nothing more than a covered area. Noisy property. Slow elevators. Housekeeping was sub-par, had to call for towels as the housekeeper only left us two. Below average beverages, especially for the price.

For the amount Hilton charges for rooms, I expected a luxury room instead, I got a shoe box that was outdated and not as clean. The bathroom was small, the sliding barn door looked like it was hanging by a thread, the light switches in the room were old and rusty, the shower heads had rust and the water pressure was terrible. The door to the balcony was so old and couldn’t close properly unless you pulled it closed a certain way with the extra lock. Paint was chipped throughout the room, the fridge was gross inside that we didn’t even use it. The closet space was extremely small and didn’t fit our luggage. The beds were so uncomfortable and the pillows were flat. The door to our room took forever to close and when it got closer to close itself, it shut so fast and so loud. The placement of the air conditioner was poor and blew right over us as we slept making our throats sore when we woke up the following day. The pool was ok and was too overcrowded. The only saving grace was that this was literally steps away from the beach. The staff were alright. The bellman Kendall was great. The hotel in general was ok and looked clean (the rooms were a different story). I would not recommend this place for $200/night. It was a huge disappointment. I’d rather pay an extra $100 to stay at the Opal or $200/night at the AC Hotel which were so much better and much more luxurious than the Hilton.

This is a older Hilton could use some upgrades. The staff was awsome and everything was within walking distance which made it nice. There were alot of local activities. One of the downsides were the prices of the beach chairs and umbrellas almost $100 to rent and they should have been free if you were staying at the resort. The good side to this was the public beach which was only $40 and $50 to rent chairs and umbrellas also just steps from the Hilton. Would I stay again yes!

Great location with direct access to the beach. Family friendly atmosphere with friendly staff. The only minor challenge is waiting for elevators and valet parking during peak hours at the hotel.
