Unfortunately our room was dusty. I actually wrote in the dust. Which was not that great for sleeping. Our superior river view also looked into other apartments. Not ideal. Had to close the curtains most of the time. $5 delivery fee for ice bucket was not anticipated. Potato gems at breakfast? No thank you!

Very comfortable and fabulous view. Quiet rooms and large very comfortable bed. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is one of the best selections we have had in a hotel. Very good and reasonable price.

As expected , the property is a bit dated and the air con system is not working too well but the location and river view are still fantastic . However have stayed at the hotel a few times over the past 20 years , I have been witnessing the decline of the hotel’s customer services together with Stamford’s brand . The front desk staff really need to have some training about customer services and know how to value and communicate with guest’s feedbacks/complaints instead of focusing on giving excuses and arguing with the guest . Credits to the concierge and housekeeping staff for friendly attitude and friendliness .

The price was not what I thought I had booked Room was right at pool level with window where all in pool could see into room mini bar empty then tried to charge for parking upon check out Reception woman was hard to understand and rude

Overall a nice stay but the shower kept running cold and then scolding, flashbacks to when I lived in an old apartment. They also charged for ice which I’ve never had happen, I asked for 2 glasses of ice and they gave us a whole bucket but charged $5
