Bedding was clean but the bathroom was not that appealing. Shower hardware was very tarnished and the caulking around the tub is not maintained. The air conditioning vent cover was dirty and the baseboard next to it as well. The A/C nice and cold. The river view was beautiful and the trail on the river was very nice. Great restaurants in the area some walkable and some about a 3-5 minute car ride. I would stay here again but I feel the bathrooms need a lot of updating and the housekeeping should address the issues I mentioned.

The rooms are horrible.. no AC, barely blowing., had to keep the balcony door open to be able to breath.. the rug looked, smelled like it had NEVER BEEN CLEANED!!! The chair was torned and stained., the bathtub had cigarette burn stains and some sticky stuff so it was super slippery.. thank god I always bring sandals .. one of the worst rooms I ever stayed in.. it was I horrible representation on downtown Jax.. rooms are nothing like the pics!! Need super revamped n updating!!

Good enough for our mini staycation

I missed the information of how to pick the river view while booking so settled with what I had. Unfortunately our balcony did not have furniture like the river view balconies. The room needs to be updated. The carpet was old and dirty. The shower wasn’t cleaned very well. Otherwise the staff were kind and can’t forget the delicious warm cookie.

Worse stay ever from a Hilton property!!!

The hotel is extremely old so the pictures on the site are misleading. It smelled of old mold wet carpet when entering my room floor. My bedroom was leaking water from the shower on the floor, in which I had to use towels to mop up the water. The sink had a slow leak as well and top it off a roach came crawling out the closet. While eating breakfast the waitress was rushing me out of my booth because they were over booked for breakfast. Service desk staff was nice housekeeping.

Hotel stay was good. The room is pretty outdated, average bathroom. They didn’t have any bathroom soap/shampoo/conditioner. Only a small bar of soap. I got the river view room which the view was nice. Bed was average. Great service at the front desk. Somewhat disappointed. For the price I paid for the room, I expected more.

Ashanti at the front desk was SO nice and so helpful when I checked in. She signed me up for the Hilton rewards and gave me free parking because of it, which you wouldn’t expect booking through Expedia. The two bartenders in the lounge were so kind and gave me great recommendations on where to go in the area since my concert got cancelled. The rooms are a tad outdated but still very clean and the view was amazing. No complaints for a one night stay. I would come back!! :)

The staff at hotel and attached Ruth’s Chris restaurant were fantastic however the facilities and rooms are very old and in poor shape. Fantastic bartender at the Lounge did tell me hotel will be going through remodel beginning April 2025 so would consider trying hotel again following remodel.

While the staff at this hotel was exceptionally friendly and engaging, the property itself is long overdue for renovation. The lobby creates a nice first impression, but this quickly fades upon entering the dated rooms. Our 10th floor room suffered from constant noise issues - both from the nearby bridge and mysterious clanking sounds inside the walls. The bathroom was particularly problematic with a chipped bathtub and an excessively loud exhaust fan. The exterior of the building appears neglected, with visible dirt and grime that could easily be addressed with pressure washing. Basic amenities were lacking as well - no refrigerators in rooms and outdated TVs without smart capabilities or even a decent channel selection. To add insult to injury, we were charged $22 for self-parking, yet we noticed the parking gates were left wide open throughout our stay, essentially allowing anyone to park for free. This inconsistent policy meant we paid for a service that others received at no cost. Though the wonderful staff does their best, they can't compensate for the significant infrastructure issues throughout this property.
