Tried to check in at 3pm, was asked to wait because room wasn't ready. Waited at the lobby over 90 minutes to check in. I asked the front desk employee every 30 minutes and all I heard was her blaming housekeeping. Very unprofessional. I could have drove back and forth to Saint Augustin instead waiting for that room. Had to asked for the manager and reached out expedia in order to get the room.

Good for Mayo
It is close to the Mayo Clinic. There is work being done on the hotel, so it was noisy during the day, but it stopped mid-afternoon. Need some sort of sign on the A/C that it is controlled at the thermostat across the room and not at the unit in the window. Traffic is bad in the afternoon, but that is not Holiday Inn's fault!

This is and older hotel that’s in the process of being redone, which is understandable . However our room felt humid and smelled of bleach when we arrived and the bathroom smelled like bleach as well but also like another no so good smell. Staff was polite and helpful , no problem. We only had to stay one night for an appointment at the Mayo Clinic so I took comfort in knowing we wouldn’t be there long. Great location as well. Over night we lost power , maybe due to rain and storm but luckily the power outage didn’t last long.

My experience was terrible , the manager of the hotel has a very bad attitude and don’t want to help . My aunt is a sick lady , we drove 7 hours to get to the hotel because she had a medical appointment at Mayo Clinic , at 12 am was a power outage, they don’t have generators in the hotel , we spend 2 hours without electricity everything was dark and the floor was wet , my aunt has a panic attack, I was trying to contact the front desk and they didn’t respond very bad costumer service. This morning we went to the front desk to talk to the manager she didn’t pay attention to us and didn’t want to give us a explanation or discount for what happened , I am not coming back to this hotel !

Only got this room at this location for the jetted tub, the person at the desk akniwledged that the only difference in my room and the others was the tub and why it was more expensive. Then tells me all of the rooms with jetted tubs are out of order and she had to change my room. Should have been cheaper and u should have been contacted since they knew the difference was the tub only. I sent a message through their site about this and still haven't heard back from anyone to at least apologize. It was midnight when we got there so wasn't like I could do anything about it.

I had a paid reservation for the first night and when I arrived they informed me that the room was no longer available and that they could not give it to me EVEN THOUGH IT WAS PAID FOR!!! Yo reserve y pague primer noche por adelantado. Cuando llegue al Hotel, me informaron que el tipo de habitación que yo había reservado ya no estaba disponible y no me la iban a dar A pesar que ya estaba pagada Expliqué, había reservado y pagado para tener esa habitación y no les importó me dijeron que no podían hacer nada que ya no había disponibilidad
