Take the bad with the good.
The bay was gorgeous and the grounds (sand and plants) were exquisitely kept. Hammocks, chairs, and loungers were well maintained. The pool was nice and the kids really enjoyed the animals. The room wasn't the cleanest (weird substances on the walls, windows, furniture...) and we weren't given enough soap, tp, towels etc for 4 people for 3 nights. It had the hardest beds ever and they had hair on them. The AC was incredibly loud and ran inconsistently. There was a gap in the door. The outdoor lighting shone through the curtains so the room shone blue all night. The toilets did not flush well.

Disappointing Experience This is not a resort—it’s more like an upgraded motel. There’s no beach, just a patch of sand in front of the patio with an old, dirty hammock. The rooms have an unpleasant smell, although the staff is friendly. It’s unclear why they charge a resort fee, as there’s only a small pool available.

The rooms were outdated and bathrooms. Dumpster outside of room were being emptied early mornings, so woke up to the loud bang of dropping them. Could have used an area rug or two. Loved the tortoise's and birds. The shuttle drivers were very nice as well as the staff.

Front desk was unwelcoming. The room was not clean, especially the bathroom. TV wasn’t working because of a lack of network. AC was not cooling and was as noisy as an old tractor. The property os poorly kept overall and not at all what it seems in the pics. I drove for 5 hrs so I dropped my bags in the room and headed out to eat. When I can back and finally got acquainted with the room I found all these issues. Front desk said the place was sold out and there was nothing they could do. I asked for an early check-out and the chance for a one-night refund out of my original 2 night stay. It was an absolute no, and no other options or ways to fix the issues with the room. The front desk lady couldn’t have been more unprofessional. Horrible experience overall. Wouldn’t recommend it.

I truly enjoyed my stay here! My waterfront room provided me with such a lovely view each morning. Sure, the rooms could be updated but I did not lack for anything while staying here. I am so appreciative of the kind shuttle drivers as well!

The restaurant was excellent, the beach was lovely. The pool area was great. The rooms could’ve been a bit more comfortable. Air conditioner was very loud. Bathroom had mold around the shower stall. Cleaning team didn’t get the sand off the floor when they cleaned

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We checked in and were hit with a "resort fee" of $125, which was not readily disclosed. When asked what the resort fee covered, we were told it covers the "free" breakfast. We then walked thru the parking lot, where a strong sewage smell hit us, to our room. The sliding door in the room that leads to the "private beach" was almost impossible to open. Once opened, we realized there were hammocks for every room except ours. My husband went to the front desk and expressed our disappointment and they said well your room doesn’t have one. There was mold everywhere, we spent one night, woke up in the morning and my husband could hardly breathe due to the moldiness. My husband went to the front desk and politely explained our dissatisfaction. The staff said there was nothing they could do. My husband asked if they would refund our money if we checked out. They said they would but we would have to speak to a manager to get the refund in writing. After speaking to management, my husband asked to speak to the owner about the possibility of a refund for the unsatisfactory night we spent there. The owner said, "No, I've had this complaint many times and I will not bend".

The room was extremely dirty, the water never got warm enough, and the hallway light bulb didn’t work. On top of that, I paid outrageous price for this small, cramped, and filthy room. What pushed me to leave my very first negative Google review was the front desk experience. When I called to express my concerns and mentioned wanting to check out early, the woman on duty that day insulted me, said nasty things, and hung up on me. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had, not just at a hotel, but in any situation.

Great waterfront room with hammocks everywhere. It was too cold to swim, but the pool area is beautiful. Free breakfast enjoyed daily. Shuttle runs hourly and always on time. Best of both worlds, relaxing with easy access to the action of Duvall. Would definitely recommend!
