Sub par but good location
Gym closed due to construction, bathroom had a couple of hairs in the shower which was not ideal, but bed was very clean and comfortable and room was spacious. No noise from construction but could hear hallway Location great with easy access to water walkway and only 10min uber from airport.

This is probably the worst stay I had. The rooms were not clean. There were stains on all the walls, towels and sheets. There was a subway line passing right next to the hotel. The subway noise was as loud as thunder waking me up every 30 minutes at night. The gym and pool were closed. The lobby restroom was close. The breakfast was as bad as everything else. They were out of breakfast items and I had to constantly tell someone to refill if I could find anyone. But some of the items were never refilled.

Sonesta ES Suites San Francisco is a beautiful property with first class amenities. The staff is somewhat welcoming but the rooms are superb. If youre in the San Francisco area, I highly recommend using this location as an option. Also, the rates are extremely affordable.

It was okay, be prepared to pay more for parking
Our stay was pretty okay. Our shower was not very clean and the conditioner was out. The room we stayed in was definitely a dog friendly room because it smelled like dog pee covered by tons of cleaners, and a bit musty. It was just this incessant smell that never went away even while sleeping. We did not have a dog with us so I’m not sure why we were put in a dog room, also there was a baby crying next door all night, i know the hotel can’t control that but the parking lot seemed pretty empty each day and night, so I’m not sure why they were cramming people into next door rooms where there are babies, when there is likely space elsewhere. Each morning the coffee and milk were out and I had to ask for them to be refilled. Over all the breakfast buffet was good, lots of options, my kids loved it. Overall the hotel was clean and nice looking, but j was shocked and irritated that I had to pay $16 a day to pay for parking, in a half empty lot, I mean come on what a rip off. I’ve never paid for parking at a hotel before. It’s not like it’s in the middle of the city where space is tight.

I would not stay here anymore. The property was dirty and smelled like marijuana. Our tv room was not vacuumed. There was garbage everywhere in the parking lot. Our bay view consists of some very broken down, old boats. Not worth the $250 a night and was really disappointed. The hotel manager, Caucasian female was rude and not friendly. When we checked in, there was no one in front of us but the hotel manager didn’t greet us and took forever before assisting us. Not once did any of the hotel staff say hi when you walked pass them.
