Do not stay here. Dark, dirty and unpleasant staff. Checked in at 4pm and vacated the property by 9pm. Fire alarm went off due to unruly guests. Checked into another hotel and called desk requesting refund. Manager was to call me back and haven’t heard anything.

No point in pre-registering online when travelodge sends you the link to do so. When you arrive you’ll have to go through the process all over again. The room was sweltering hot when I arrived. I attempted to turn the temperature down to 16deg and left the window open while I left for several hours. The fridge was also not working. Upon returning, the room felt even worse. I let the desk know and she checked the room and there was a power bump (breaker). A man showed up and he also assessed the room. He stated that they had turned off the central air conditioning and that it’d be 2deg that night so the room should cool down if I keep the window open. He said that he could bring a fan to help. He also said that the fridges are turned off between guests and that you would have to turn the fridge on when you arrive as it cuts down on mold in the fridge (turning on the fridge was not something I was told to do). The fridge absolutely did not work until the bump happened even with turning the dial (the microwave and tv electronics also made an audible sound and rest when this happened). So I doubt it would’ve worked prior to that happening. They did eventually bring a fan and advised me to keep the temperature controls at a certain level and the room should cool. It did slightly, but it was still a very uncomfortable hot room throughout the night. When checking out I did inform them of this when they asked. They asked if they could do anything, but it was too little too late.

welcoming staff were good but when we checked out the staff were not very polite. We had flies in the room and they did not seem at all concerned about it. We also experienced a false fire alarm during the night and were not given any kind of explination about what caused it so the night was a right off as to getting a good night sleep.

Location was great, it’s an older hotel but don’t judge things from the outside it’s what’s inside that matters Room was clean, bed was very comfortable slept well, breakfast was great. Front desk was excellent. Would stay there again. Price is affordable

Great stay for the price. Clean rooms. Nice Breakfast and friendly staff. Looks like a room by room reno and things are looking up. I would stay again. Oh and steps from Henderson Lake!
