I’ve been a loyal Comfort Inn guest for many years and have always had great experiences at other locations, particularly in North Bay and St. Thomas. Unfortunately, my recent stay at the London location did not meet the same standard.
The room appeared quite rundown and not as clean as I’ve come to expect from this chain. There was visible dirt and grime on the light switches and lamps, and the shower was not in the best condition — I even found someone else’s hair. The toilet also did not appear very clean. I’ve attached a photo for reference.
The complimentary coffee station was disappointing as well — the area looked dirty, and the machine was out of order. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable; the mattress was very thin, and I could feel the springs poking through.
One of the main reasons I choose Comfort Inn is because of the breakfast, which I’ve always enjoyed in the past. However, this time I was let down. Breakfast was advertised from 6–9 a.m., but when I arrived around 8:10, the waffle mix had already been taken away, the coffee was empty, and there was only one sausage patty left.
