Loved it!

Great location, short walk to beach and restaurants. Pool area was nice and shaded for when you needed a break from the sun. Perfect spot for travel king by yourself or with friend/partner.

Good Location Unit Needs Improvement

My boyfriend & I came down for a Heat game from Alaska. We like to use Vrbo for a more personalized experience that feels more local. When we arrived the instructions regarding the elevator were a bit confusing, so we took the stairs as instructed. After flying all night we weren’t fans of dragging large luggage up 3 flights of narrow stairs. This is an older building with no A/C outside of the unit as well. The unit itself felt like a bit of a catfish, clean but run down. It didn’t bother us much since we were always out of the room due to the good location, very walkable area. The main complaint was during a rain storm with flash flood warnings during our stay. We realized there was water leaking in from a nice sized crack in the ceiling above one AC unit. Literal pieces of drywall starting to fall the more wet it got. We were concerned of water that was wetting cords & electrical outlets. I let Lee know of our concerns & at first he wanted us to just use additional towels (which I was not impressed with) but ended up making it right by offering us a unit across the street. We did have to move at 11pm in a downpour but it was much better then sleeping in a leaking room with no AC (we had to unplug for fire safety). I would recommend the unit in the Bennett over the Hudson any day & personally wouldn’t stay there again. To each their own though just an honest review!

Would recommend/stay again

The space is comfortable and the location is very convenient— close enough to the nightlife but situated in a more quiet tucked-in building. The pool and grounds are kept exceptionally clean, and the people in the building are all friendly. The host is very communicative as well. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Great Little Spot in on Miami Beach

This place was perfect. Roomy, clean, and well appointed. Owner was great to deal with, and has a good, trustworthy staff. That latter part is critical. Location was great. 2 minute walk to the beach. 30 second walk to all kinds of great food. Plenty of little hole in wall places to get basic amenities at cheap price. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic location -- everything in South Beach is an easy walk away

This is an historic building, so be prepared to walk up 7-8 steps to get to the elevator. Using the elevator requires you to open a large heavy door to get into the elevator and to exit it. The unit is on the third floor, so if you have any ambulatory issues, be aware that the unit is most easily accessed via several flights of stairs. The other issue to be aware of is the street noise. The windows are thin, and the unit faces the street, so you will hear garbage trucks, delivery trucks, people talking, cars honking, etc. If you are sensitive to noise, then be sure to bring good earplugs and a white noise machine. Also, bring an eye mask, since the glorious Florida sun floods the room in the morning. It was a bit strange to arrive to find plastic wrapped bundles of linens and towels on the bare bed. However, it was nice to know that everything was clean and fresh from the cleaners. Be prepared to make up the bed yourself. It was a nice touch to provide a beach towel! The apartment is serviceable and priced fairly. There are aspects that are run-down (like the shelf in the bathroom is heavily damaged, several of the slats on the blinds are broken, etc), but it's a spacious studio, and it was clean. It's not lux, but it's inexpensive and the location is fantastic. The property manager was responsive and easy to contact. Overall, it was a good place to stay while spending a week in South Beach.

South Beach, Month Stay

This stay here was incredible. The apartment is clean and nicely decorated. The apartment is west facing so you’ll get a beautiful view if the sunset and golden hour lighting. Although it’s a studio it doesn’t feel small as it has a wall separating the kitchen and living area. A great bonus is that there is laundry on each floor and each machine only needs $1 in quarters. You can’t go wrong with the location you’re in the heart of south beach. Española Way is on the same block, it’s two blocks to the beach (5min walk), and Lincoln Road is less than a 10 min walk. With that said it’s surprisingly quiet for being in the heart if everything. You may have people having a party on the street on the weekends, but things will quiet down by midnight. Lastly, Lee is a great host. The communication started early on and he reached out throughout the month stay to make sure things were going well. If you see his other listings I have no doubt they’ll be just as great since he’s involved. Overall it was amazing and I encourage others to stay. :)

Great staying in Miami Beach

Great studio, very clean and nicely decorated. The bedroom / livingroom area has tons of light and the kitchen is huge for a studio. The bed and sofa are very comfortable. It's just 2 blocks away from the beach and Ocean Drive. I stayed for 4 weeks working remotely and it felt like home

Great time in Miami

This apartment is well located and close to all the great areas The appartment is close of all great places you need to visit ex: Beach, Lincoln Av, Ocean drive, Espanola way, Lummus Park, Etc). Also everything was close to simplify our stay and day2day activities, ex: grocery, restaurant, city and Hop on-off busses. Lee and Alex have been great and really helpful to guide and assist us during our stay. Great value and we would no issue to rent this appartment again in a next trip to Miami.

perfect place in south beach

One of the better surprises (positive) in my VRBO experience. From response time, instructions and follow-up from owner..all very professional. As for the unit, I was pleasantly surprised..was there for work conference at the Loews which was a short 3-minute walk away. Location is awesome with abundant restaurants and other amenities just around the corner..Espanola Street was go-to for breakfast or lunch. As for the unit, 3rd floor unit corner (no one above) and was unbelievably quiet with respect to other tenants. Unit was very clean and had everything I needed..coffee, iron, dishes (market across street was easy for last minute items). Will for sure stay there again next time in south beach. Well done guys!!
