Great hotel in a lovely town
Very clean hotel with large rooms. Great breakfast and we also had an evening meal there, which we all enjoyed (huge burger!). Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. We stayed here as a midpoint to activities and Munich, but also really liked Ottobeuren - it’s a lovely town, plenty of places to eat and the abbey is extraordinary. All in all a great find - highly recommend

Staff was friendly. The place was very clean. Breakfast was decent. Several small restaurants and a bakery are right out front. The basilica is quite amazing right next door. Great place. A gem off the beaten path.

Rooms are beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We will definitely stay longer on our next visit - this time we were just passing through. Our only inconvenience was there was some road construction on our way in, but that is by no means the fault or control of the Hotel. Loved it!!

Excellent Air conditioning and restaurant
We headed to the hills to avoid the Stuttgart heat, so we were most concerned about the quality of the AC which was excellent. We booked a smaller room with a queen bed that was at the front of the building facing the sun, so we upgraded (20 euros) to a larger room with two connected twin beds facing the parking lot which was much cooler. It is very difficult to get good AC in Germany but this one was so great we could have turned it down. The beds were a little hard and it would have been great to have a more comfy mattress covering to bring both mattresses together. There was no refrigerator or kettle but they gave us a very small one when we requested it. I am not a big fan of German food but the food at the restaurant was excellent, especially the Hirsch salad--best I have ever had. The dunkle beer was also the best beer we have had in Germany and we bought a case.
