This was our fourth time visiting bahamar. I found this visit to be painful from a customer service perspective. Poolside cocktail service at the beach club (paid admission) and all pools was slow and service was lacking. We waited 30 minutes to be greeted at the palm court restaurant outside, just to be greeted. If I had to make a decision about how I spent my money based on value, it would not be at this resort again.

Expensive as any place I've ever been but to maintain the staff and upkeep it is probably fair. The resort is massive and must cost over $50,000 to $100,000 a day to maintain and staff.

This is a big beautiful resort. Once you get adjusted and know where to go it is awesome. The staff was fantastic they were super friendly and helpful! The one thing and it’s a big thing is the food is very expensive. I spent a lot more money then I thought on food and chairs around the pools, I would go back but not in January. It was too busy

Way too many people. Never a chair available at any of the many pools. So many people held their chairs for the whole day, when they weren’t using them. Had to make reservations for dinner each night and even with a reservation had to wait 30 minutes. There were even long lines to take the elevators.

While the property, facilities, view and beach were quite nice the service and maintenance of the facility were extremely poor for the price. It is difficult to express how disappointed my family and I were with the staff and services provided by the facility. The management of the facility is far from what one should expect when spending what the Baha Mar charges for the stay and EVERY single little item at the resport. I would not recommend this resort.

They charge a bill at the end of your stay that still makes no sense because people who are not staying at the Hotel can walk where ever they want in the resort, it is open to anyone , literally anyone can get to my room or any amenities I paid for so makes no sense. Staying at the Hyatt you still have to pay to get into every place like Jazz Bar and privilage pool its so transactional and feels like squeezing for money not a true experience like I have had at other 5 star hotels. Could have honestly stayed at Magaritaville or Atlantis

This is our first and definitely not our last to Baha Mar Grand Hyatt. ALL the staff were pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the water park, the dining options, NYE entertainment and the Jazz club. Overrall, the staff were really the best we've experienced throughout the Caribbean. Thanks to everyone

Spent 6 nights over NYE here and the place is amazing! Kid friendly and adult at the same time. Get ready to break open the savings account as the place isn’t cheap. Staff could be a bit more friendly especially at the front desk didn’t get a warm welcome at check in and at check out not much help. Pool staff are all over it, kids pool area by the cliff was only heated half the trip. Beach is nice and clean, yellow shirt workers not the most helpful either. Will often state equipment that should be free of charge is broken or won’t return to help. Restaurant workers were amazing and hardly waited for spot in line for food to come. Would def return here!
