We really loved our 3rd floor corner balcony room overlooking the bay and having waves crash below. Very peaceful and comfortable. Few amenities.

Unfortunately, we only had one night to spend in Hilo-wish it could’ve been longer. This is an older hotel I believe, but the front desk lady was very nice and accommodating. The room was quite comfortable, the bed was great-we had a little balcony looking over the bay. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see much off the balcony when I was sitting down because it’s not plexi glass so you can’t really see through it unless you stand up. But it’s a great view. There’s also some magnificent Banyan trees in the front of the property and it’s well located. Another nice feature is the room actually has cups and plates and silverware If you need to put together a little meal. If I went back to Hilo, I would definitely consider staying there again.
