The hotel is small, but very beautiful, cozy, and clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, which truly sets it apart from many other hotels in New York. They respond immediately to any requests, offer advice, and it’s simply a pleasure to interact with them. Our child was given a fun toy box at check-in and got to pick one right away, which was such a thoughtful touch. We were also checked in two hours earlier upon request — a huge thank you for that!
The room itself is on the smaller side, but it has so many positives. There’s a Nespresso machine with good coffee, and since we’re real coffee lovers, the staff even brought us extra pods when we asked. The bed is very comfortable, with high-quality linens, pillows, duvets, towels, and robes — everything felt soft and luxurious. The toiletries were surprisingly good too, not the cheap kind you often find. The shampoo and conditioner worked well, so I didn’t need to use my own products, which was a pleasant surprise.
The room had a decent view, and the window could be opened slightly for fresh air — something I really value, as it keeps the air from feeling too dry. The air conditioning worked quietly and didn’t blow directly at the bed, which made sleeping very comfortable. As guests who are very particular about comfort, we truly appreciated these details.
