Great location, breakfast was good, staff was friendly. Our only issue was the elevators, we were on the 36th floor and there was only 1 elevator working every day. I know and understand they were working on them but next time we wont stay any higher than the fourth floor.

The staff were great and friendly. Very helpful as well! Our room was clean and no complaints there. Only complaint was the elevator wait. There are only 2 small elevators and 36 floors meaning a lot of guests. During our stay, one of the elevators stopped working leaving only one working elevator. Our floor was 32 so we couldn’t even take the stairs :( overall decent stay.

Pros: Good and friendly staff. Everyone was helpful and they always check if you need anything. Our room was always cleaned and bed was always made in our 3 day stay. Front desk and kitchen staff were always there offering help. Hot breakfast was good. Tight space and elevator traffic wasn’t the best. Cons: One of the elevators was not functioning when we stayed so there was always traffic.

Property is ideally located. Rooms are better than we expected and it was a bit more spacious than what we see in the pictures. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was not the best. Staff were very cheerful and helpful.

The elevators were not working well and we would wait sometimes 20 minutes for an elevator. The last day we had to carry our luggage down 29 floors as the elevators were not working. Staff very apologetic but it was very frustrating

Great Staff but so so great a property

Holiday Inn Express at New York City Times Square is in major need of upgrade. A lot of times, only one elevator (out of 2) was functional. For a hotel with 30+ floors and 120+ rooms that is a bit of an inconvenience. There was always a long wait for the elevators. One of the days there was no water supply in the sink and the shower for most of the day. It got repaired only by 5pm in the evening. The staff of the hotel is extremely nice and courteous but unfortunately all this is not in their hands. I have only the most amazing things to say about the staff who are always smiling even when the customers are complaining about things that are not in their control. On the positive side, the rooms are extremely clean and the breakfast if wholesome.
