This hotel was very mediocre. For a more affordable and “local feeling” experience I really enjoyed the Adventure Inn nearby. And for this same price of around $145-$175/night I just find the Marriott to be much nicer. (Courtyard Marriott & Fairfield Marriot are my usual go-tos when I’m just looking for something quick) I wanted to stay somewhere new and be able to explore walking trails and enjoy a hot tub/pool … so booked this one because those areas looked nicer here than the Marriott, but my flight from Limon was delayed & it was pouring rain so didn’t actually get to use. On the plus side, staff were friendly, water pressure was very good for Costa Rica (can actually get shampoo out of hair), and they have shuttles to and from the airport every 20 minutes which is convenient. (Same as Marriott) I would not stay here again for a few reasons - (1) doesn’t feel as nice as other tourist heavy airport hotels nearby that are all the same price (2) I was in a room on ground level so maybe not an issue for everyone, but it was super noisy as I could hear the front desk check-ins and suitcases conversations coming down the hall pretty much all night long (3) No vegan/healthy options or local beer/snacks offered at all. Options for dinner were a chicken place & a Dennys in the parking lot. I was exhausted so opted for Dennys - and all I could eat was a mediocre salad that somehow cost $35! No bueno lol.

Bad shuttle sevice.
The shuttle never showed up at the designated site #13 at the airport. Waited for an hr. Hotel email states every 20 min shuttle service. Then took the taxi. Too many guys there try to get money from you and the taxi wants $50 to go one km to hotel. So had a very bad exprience. And other clients might have the same experience. This was the second time. Happening. Hope the manger of the hotel correct this problem. Thank you.

San Jose infrastructure makes getting to the hotel little bit challenging. If you are getting a shuttle then this doesn't matter. Plenty of parking. Access to Dennys. Continental breakfast is good and there are gluten free options! Free coffee is available through the day. Clean and friendly staff.

The room smelled funny and not to sure about how clean the sheets were since they looked wrinkled before we got in bed but the breakfast was absolutely amazing!!! For the most part everything seemed cleaned, quiet, and extremely close to the airport! Everything we needed for a one day stay.

Best hotel by the airport
So perfect to have right by the airport. We stayed here for one night on either end of our trip. They are super nice and the rooms are great. The shuttle is extremely convenient. Will always stay here if we need to stay by the airport!

This is a great option after a long travel day. The place is very clean and comfortable. Not many eating options, but there are a few within a short walk. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent.
