Lovely spot by the river Cam and easily walkable into Cambridge. The reception and bar staff were excellent!

Actually clean like no other

Very pleasant stay

Check in was quick with a friendly member of staff. The room was spacious with comfy beds. Great location for the cathedral and Cromwell's House. Just a short walk through the cathedral grounds to the river. Recommended.

Second stay at this hotel with family, really enjoyed again and sure we will return. Staff all lovely and helpful especially with children. Small issue dealt with quickly. Really like the relaxed atmosphere in the bar and seating area and outside area around the lovely lake. Great being able to get good food not just in the restaurant. The pool is really nice but feel it would be good especially in the holidays to extend the kids swim times just a little longer as we were unable to use the pool on the first night and it wasn't very late at all. Stayed in a junior suite and really liked the extra touches. Having the kids on a large sofa bed in another separated part of the room makes a big difference. Also the jacuzzi bath and the inclusive well stocked mini fridge make it feel like value is added and help create a relaxing stay and make us choose this over other hotels in the area. Also the breakfast both days was very nice and no fuss.

Lovely stay, cannot fault the hotel or the staff. Only issue we had was the aircon was faulty in the room but staff were happy to help.
