Fantastic place….clean and couldn’t’ be closer to pool.
We had a great stay here. We had 4 kids under 19 yoa and they all loved the proximity to the pool which the gate to the pool is right outside the back door! Golf cart and bikes were a big hit and necessary since the beach isn’t a short walk. We’d stay here again for sure.

Overall, the stay was great. We loved the location and the spacious house. One of our main reasons for selecting this location was due to the hot tub and included golf cart. Unfortunately we had issues with both. On our first evening we arrived, the hot tub was not hot and the pool was warmer than the hot tub. The pool was also fairly dirty and tiles by the hot tub were sunken in and moving causing a major trip hazard that got us more than once. We notified the manager and the hot tub issue and it was working the next day, so that was great. We took out the golf cart shortly after arriving and one of the batteries blew within 5 minutes due to a loose connection. It was still drivable. We let the management company know and they sent someone to take a look and let us know it should be done after we personally tightened the connection. He also stated that the outlet had been replaced a half dozen times already due to issues. The battery was plugged in for hours and did not show it was charged once we unplugged it. We thought perhaps it was a fluke with the electronics on the golf cart so went ahead and took it to Seaside for dinner. We ended up getting stranded and had to call an Uber. We requested a replacement and received it late the next day. Additionally, floors were dirty and turned your feet black and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling. Again, the place overall was great but could use some attention.

We loved everything about this stay! The house was immaculate. The open floor plan was beautiful. The golf cart made traveling to the beach so much fun. I wouldn’t have it any other way. This house has everything you need and then some. Would definitely recommend and even come back!

Great family friendly getaway!
We loved this property! It was clean, well kept and tucked away in a family friendly neighborhood! Great for kids to ride their bikes and the close proximity to the pool was perfect. It was easy to get to beach with cart or bikes making it a non issue that we weren’t right on the beach. This place was wonderful and we’d book it again in a heartbeat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in By the Sea. The management company was extremely responsive and helpful and was able to accommodate our request to extend our stay. The home was very clean and proximity to pool was a huge plus. It is literally right outside the back door. Pleasantly surprised how quiet the neighborhood was as well. Even with the pool right behind the home, we never heard any pool noise. Would definitely recommend this home. We will stay here again.

Fun at the beach
The house was comfortable with a well furnished kitchen. We rode bikes or took the golf cart to the beach. We spent more time in the surf and watching the fish with our masks on than we had on earlier trips we we had a condo on the beach. Got lots of good exercise riding bikes. Everyone was so friendly!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The location is great if you have smaller children. We were so close to the pool which made it easy for lunch/ nap time. We enjoyed Gulfview Heights Beach Access a little bit more than the one suggested and it was the same distance. The golf cart was great and a must for the area. The house had everything we needed!

Great spring break
The property was beautiful and clean. About one mile to the beach that was made really easy with the use of the golf cart. The only negative was the amount of provisions they give you—3 dishwasher pods, 3 laundry pods , 3 rolls of toilet paper and 2 garbage cans. We went through all of that in 2 days. However, they tell you that before you get there so we were prepared with a quick grocery run. Plan to also buy some hand soap as they provide only 3 small bars of soap for the bathrooms only and none for the kitchen. Would absolutely stay here again.

Santa Rosa Beach home away from home
This was our first time getting away since the pandemic started in February. We were somewhat nervous due to the virus and staying in someones else's home. From the moment we stepped in, our fear was put to rest with the immaculate beach house's cleanliness. Awesome House, great location!
Our family of 7 had the pleasure of staying at By the Sea over a long weekend. The house was perfectly located in the neighborhood directly across from the pool which our kids loved as they were able to go back and forth easily. Having a 6 person golf cart and bikes available at this property were so helpful and icing on the cake! We enjoyed every minute and loved that we could ride around to nearby beach access, restaurants and shops on the golf cart or bikes. Would highly recommend this beautiful home and Oversees! This company was amazing! Thanks for a wonderful stay and great memories for our family!!

Great family vacation!
By the sea was perfect for our family! Great location, golf cart was a huge plus for us! House was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had a few unfortunate speed bumps due to pandemic and weather which caused us to not enjoy our beach area at blue mountain, however you can’t control Mother Nature! Due to high tide on blue mountain and the narrow beach area we move to Grayton beach for the rest of the week, which was still beautiful.

Dream Getaway
This was the first place I have been to where the pictures actually undersold the experience. Everything seemed much bigger than the pictures showed and every bit as beautiful. We took our family of 6 and had more room than we knew what to do with. We didn't get to use the bikes because of our littles, but we loved the golf cart. We came for the beaches (which were amazing) but the true star of the show was the pool that was only steps away from the condo. We spent countless hours swimming, eating, and soaking in the sun poolside. All that to say, if you can, rent this place. Just don't do it on a week we are looking to rent it again!!! :)

Gorgeous home with the community pool directly behind the house. Beach is within walking distance (about 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile). House is a beautiful new construction. WiFi was a little spotty so bring some board games in case of rain for the little ones.

Great property but in a construction zone
This is a great property that backs up to the community pool. Our only complaint is that we wished the owner/management company had disclosed that four houses are currently being built across the street. They work from 7am to 7pm. We woke up to trucks unloading, beeping and/or hammering every morning. You can also hear the construction from the pool. Otherwise, we liked the community and the property.
