Absolutely horrendous!
Before I go into the details, I’m sure the management company will fire back with a typical “we fixed all your concerns” response just like they have for the other negative reviews. What’s funny is all the positive review appear to be copy/paste reviews with identical wording. Renters beware.
Now for the truth of our stay. It started with the owners promising us an early check in. They stated we could check in at any time since the unit was empty the night before and to just let them know when we get there and thus will let us in early. We arrived 2 hours early. It was raining and almost 100 degrees. All calls texts and messages were ignored leaving an infant and two toddlers sitting in the hot rain until the “official” check in time. Shame on you.
As far as the condition of the place? IT’S VERY RUN DOWN. do not be deceived by the pictures or reviews. Walls had all kinds of blotchy patch work, there was MOLD growing up the wall out of the toilets (we were told it’s nothing to worry about!). The towels all had other people’s HAIR in them and felt like sand paper. The parking spots are hidden and only large enough for a sub compact. Any time you run the sink THE SMELL OF MILDEW AND MOLD FILLED THE CONDO. WASPS ON THE PATIO AND ROACHES INSIDE. We asked to be moved or check out and be refunded and the owners refused. Once again told us that the black mold was safe and nothing to worry about. 🙄 This is something I would have expected to rent in Haiti, not 30a.
