We stayed 6 nights. The room was rather small. Staff were responsive to our request to move to another room with a better view and to supply an extra chair to hold the luggage. The room was well serviced by the house keeping staff. The location is well serviced by numerous eating places, shopping areas and public transport.

The manager Roger was very rude and not compassionate at all. We checked in almost midnight to take a flight out the other morning . We asked if we could extend our check out time till 2pm since our flight out will be 8pm. He wouldn’t only to tell us till 1pm. Holiday inn will always give you an extension, they are very compassionate. Thinking out of the box and to be compassionate . A white family checked and they were giving an extension right in front of me and I challenged that. I guess the service for colored people is totally different . We have being traveling from Nz, Sydney , Tokyo, Thailand , Bali , Cambodia , Vietnam all the hotels gave us a superb service which were all 5star hotels I stayed in .

Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was ok. Toliet seat was strange. Shower had good pressure but grout in walls felt old and a bit dingy. Great location. Staff was very nice. Great value. Ac worked well. Loved having water filling stations.

Food was horrible
The food at the cafe (restaurant) was totally horrible ..... had the "Fried" Kway Tiao .... they literally "Deep Fried" the kway tiao and put the gravy over it......not what i had expected. And the Chicken Nasi Briyani.....totally tasteless...avoid going to the cafe (restaurant)/
