I have stayed in this property already few times, but I had a major issue with internet connection this time which was most important for me being on business trip. Hotel internet was not working properly all the time and this was not only issue with me but had seen many people complaining. However reception staff did not want to accept that there is indeed a problem and gave me a reply that previous guest in the same room did not complain about it and it is problem of my phone without knowing that I have 3 phones and 1 laptop and all of them were not working. I was astonished with response especially when I do not know the how important was internet connection for previous guest.

Hotel is in a good location walking distance to 2 MRT lines. Condition of hotel is decent, age is definitely showing but still kept nicely. WiFi was a big problem and could not use it entire trip. Street noise from construction was horrible in the morning. Staff was friendly and tried to help with WiFi but did not get a reliable WiFi signal for our entire stay.

Brilliant hotel, staff & location
Just a one night stay but it was a fantastic location, clean and friendly place. Loved the microbrewery just in the courtyard. Overall a great place and we will definitely stay longer in this hotel next time we visit Singapore. Highly recommended.

Pro: Rooms are spacious, clean with good AC and next to MRT (subway) to get to other points of interests. Cons: Property is old (circa 80’s), carpet, bathrooms and overall is quite dated and you’re looking for something more modern, you won’t like this.

Stayed for about 4 days. Minor issues like some electrical outlets not working, replenishing basic toiletries not regularly done. Little adjustments to adapt was not convenient for the short stay like notify room cleaning, etc. Though these concerns were taken cared of, there was the hassle. For its rates, it’s a decent place to rest and stay. Location is on a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
