Stay in hotel was very pleasant ,room was a bit on the dark side, mini bar was a nice surprise,bathroom was spotless but missed walk in shower,i think you need a joiner to check hinges in mini bar doors not working properly thats not to say all rooms are the same as room 205, wuold use hotel again.

Carlton george hotel is right in the heart of glasgow city centre. Right beside george square. This is our 2nd time staying here and will be back again. We stayed in the club room which was a huge room and faced on to the city centre. We stayed in room 210 it was close to the lift had a bath with a shower. You get slippers and a dressing gown and some nice arran toiletries. There is also a mini bar which is FREE and these are in all rooms. Plus we got entry in to the executive lounge where you get a 2 and a half hour time slot when you book in. Its from 5-7.30pm or 8-10.30 . There you can help yourself to vodka, whisky, bacardi, wine and soft drinks. Or you can get tea, coffee and hot chocholate. They have some cheese and crackers , pretzels, mini chedders and crisps for snacks. The staff will ask for your room number and name when going in to the lounge this is to make sure its only the people who have booked go in to the lounge as you only get it when in certain rooms and not just a free for all. Any way staff are all friendly and the beds are so so comfotable i did not want to get up out of it lol. Glasgow queen street train station is practically next door and if you are going to the airport the bus stop is right outside the hotel.

Great location for walking all around Glasgow. Free mini bar and crystal decanter of whiskey in the room, as well as hot water for hot chocolate, coffee, and free snacks. Don't bother with the restaurant on the 7th floor, though. Food and service are not great. Go to the pub next store called Waxy O'Connor's and walk around the cool interior. You might get lost!

I can not recommend this hotel enough. It’s less than a minute from queen street station, the staff including Amy when we checked in was so helpful and lovely. Our room had a balcony and was a good size and the mini bar also had decanters and just all felt very decadent. Will definitely stay again. The lounge was great too with again really friendly helpful staff. So glad I went with this hotel

The Reception staff were very warm and friendly offering travel tips and assistance needed. Our room was quaint with vintage furniture. Especially liked access to the crystal glasses for our drinks.

Very good location with many shops and restaurants within walking distance . Cute hotel but roomsneed to be updated a bit. Desk leg just about fell off and the old red carpet has to go but overall great experience!

This hotel was just as charming as I'd hoped it would be. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. We also upgraded to Executive Level to take advantage of the 7th floor lounge for evening cocktails, and that was a great decision. Great location, just a couple minutes from the Queens Street train station, as well as many restaurants and shops. Hotel staff was beyond friendly and kind.
