Like staying in a beautiful park. It was too cold to swim this time, but enjoyed walking the grounds. Excellent breakfasts at the main lodge. Room was clean and spacious - King Suite. Bed was comfortable. Parking ample. Peaceful.

The property is dated and the building we stayed in had no elevator. There was also no refrigerator or microwave, and the coffee supplied was not adequate for the number of people registered. The exhaust fan in the bathroom also did not work. I was charged an additional $90 by the resort and have been unable to get an explanation. I would not recommend this property.

Price was awful, everyone (including staff) looked at us as we didn't belong there; ants in our 1st room crawling on the counters, next room seemed to be a party area. People were loud and sounded drunk; in the hallway and nextdoor. Would not recommend

It is a very old property, the rooms and carpets smell bad, it is not suitable for people with allergies. Check out is at 11am but at 10am they knocked on my door and came in, saying they had to change the lock, my wife was in the bathroom, they told us they would be back and they came back at 10:40, we decided to leave very disgusted with the place. They do not respect privacy and even more so when paying for the stay until 11 and they are in the rooms without waiting for the check-out time.

I feel this was very unprofessional and unjustly
We arrived late because we had a late work day when arriving it was almost 11pm the site said check in is anytime after 11pm i called to inform hotel id be getting in late no answer after at leat 4 attempts still no answer we pull up teh person working said it was past check in and they cluld not accomadate us turmed us away i paid around 500 for 2 rooms one night that they refused to refund and also yet still was hard to get ahold of anyone to rewuest a refund also

Signage is terrible. We finally found the building to check in at and the person at the counter acted like we were an intrusion. She did not offer any information about the property or amenities. To answer questions we had she gave us a card...she didn't know the answers. The room was in bad need of remodeling...sculptured carpet that had a musty smell, mismatched furniture. The bathroom door stuck so bad it was extremely difficult to close or open. Their "complimentary" coffee service was a 4 cup coffee maker. Their "miniature golf course" was nothing more than a practice putting green. We never saw their tram service. The golf course was in terrible shape. The staff were not helpful. Their driving range was not accessible...an employee had to drive you to it while you carried a club or 2 (you couldn't take your golf bag. This was extremely disappointing experience that I would recommend no one else attempt to try.

You can tell this property was a hit in its hayday. I had to book it as it was the only decent looking hotel in the area post a hurricane.I didn't need a "resort" as I was there on business after hurricane Milton.The room was well appointed, the size of a one bedroom apt. I can tell why it has the rating and its appeal and price point. I need to go and see it, and experience it not during hurricane season. There were some drainage issues on the property whilst driving the facility but thats understandable, with two back to back cat 3 hurricanes having just hit the area. I will go back though, I'm intrigued to see it in the daylight without the flooding.
