Madeira Bay Resort #408 is a two bedroom, one bathroom condo with a private balcony. Views of marina, sunrises, waterway and islands. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second has a queen size bed. Condo is very nicely decorated and has tile and wood floors throughout. Recently painted and all updated furnishings and decor. Amenities include a full kitchen, washer and dryer in unit, and free Wi-Fi. This condo has been beautifully redone. One parking pass provided. This unit is NOT pet friendly.

Madeira Bay Resort is a few short blocks from John's Pass Village and Boardwalk offering waterfront dining, shopping and water sport rentals. Very easy access to the beach, which located just across the street. The property offers a heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, fitness room and 24/7 front desk reception.

We are senior citizens and the tub/shower were very unsafe with nowhere to hold onto for entry and exit. That was the only thing I found a problem. Everything else was wonderful. Very clean unit!

Disappointed with communication and lame charge
Would have scored higher but the runaround we have gotten on a lame damage charge was horrible customer service. A faulty part in the bathroom was charged to us that could have been that way when we arrived but they refused to discuss with us. Will never consider this property again as quality customer service is key for us.

Good weekend getaway
Overall our stay here was enjoyable. Plenty of space for 2 adults and right across the street from the beach. We had a car so we were able to drive to other beaches in the area to explore. While the unit was updated other areas of the property were definitely a little outdated. The only other thing to note which is small but as someone who goes to the beach often the unit was not super well equipped with certain items.

Great location, nice condo
Family of four stayed for about 5 days…. Great location right across from the public beach and short walk to John’s Pass. We saw dolphins right behind the pool and a manatee right below our balcony. Condo was very nice and well maintained. The only thing we didn’t care for was the balcony. It is rather small and open to all surrounding balconies. It has no walls at all, just a railing. Not the end of the world, but just make sure you realize that. We would stay here again.

Great place
Very nice condo, comfy master king bed, nice furniture and tvs. Well kept place. Nice little patio to enjoy morning coffee. Everything around this area is easy to navigate and walk, from the beach to restaurants to shopping. Parking easy and convenient. Wifi works well also.

The condo is very small. The second room with futon is not legal. There is only one escape route if there was a fire. Glass tables are ridiculous for a rental. Location is very touristy if you like that stuff.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo very much. It was as described and close to everything! The beach was across the street and it was less than a 10 min walk to John's pass. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus as was the private patio.

Weekend Paradise
We took advantage of a CrossFit Competition and turned it into a weekend getaway at this lovely home. Beautiful patio view and access to beach directly across the street. We definitely will be making this a yearly trip!!

Great stay over all. Second bedroom was supposed to have bunk beds but had an old, very dated couch in second bedroom with terrible lighting instead. Thankfully it was just me and my fiancé this trip and not our kids, or that would have been a problem. But overall, good condo. Pet friendly, which was our main concern. Great location. And Lisa’s cafe and Mad Beach Fish House were local jewels that we could walk to! Easy beach access across the street! Would stay here again. Thank you!

The second bedroom did not have bunk beds, as described. Also, there was no window in the second bedroom. Legally, by all building codes, there must be a window big enough to escape in case of fire for ot to be considered a bedroom. There was no pull out couch in the living room, as described. We contacted the rental company, through VRBO, and they would not give us a refund for the one day we left early to find somewhere different to stay.

Great location but not pet friendly.
The location is great, the condo was nice enough. We were traveling with a small 4 pound pet and were prepared with all vet records. The front office staff were very rude and told us that they don’t allow pets. When I showed them the booking that says small pets are welcome, they reluctantly relented but charged a large pet fee. We will choose to stay elsewhere for our next trip.

Everything was great but 3 small things. First, no ice. They said there was an ice maker in the fridge but the water was not connected. We were told to go to 7-11. Second, one tiny bar or horrible soap and one tiny thing of shampoo. The writeup said that would be provided...I recommend you bring your own. AND the worst thing was we were told we would be fined if we didn't wash and put away dishes but no dish soap or sponges/rags were provided ?????
