Sea Rocket 2 - Ground Floor Paradise in North

This is a great little unit for a weekend getaway! Sea Rocket #2 is on the ground floor on the south side of the building. The condo sleeps two guests with a queen-size bed and a sleeper sofa. It has an updated compact kitchen and dressing area and is also equipped with free WiFi! You will feel right at home! Please note: There is no guest parking onsite. There is only one assigned spot per unit.

Sea Rocket was built in 1950 and is a gem of a complex located in North Redington Beach, where the beach is simply dazzling! Sea Rocket is a small (30 individually owned units) complex where the condos are small, cute, clean, completely furnished, and equipped for shorter or longer stays. There is also an on-site laundry room. It is a charming, reasonably priced vacation spot just steps from the white powdery sand and pristine water of the Gulf of Mexico. Here, you will enjoy breathtaking sunsets, walks on the beach, and fabulous shelling. 

There is a large covered patio overlooking the beach with plenty of lounge chairs, a BBQ grill, and a shuffleboard for use during your stay. Colorful Adirondack chairs are casually placed around the property for reading, snoozing, or socializing with the unique community that is the Sea Rocket! 

Redington Shores borders North Redington Beach to the north, Madeira Beach to the south, the Intracoastal Waterway to the east, and the Gulf of Mexico to the west. Redington Beach is primarily a waterfront residential community, approximately 1 square mile in size. The town of North Redington Beach lies in the heart of the Sun Coast's beach communities, halfway between Clearwater to the north and St. Pete Beach to the south.

Redington Shores is just 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport and offers easy access to all major cities and attractions in the Tampa Bay area. Along the main stretch of Gulf Blvd, which links all these beach communities, you'll find many popular and local breakfast, lunch, and dinner establishments and the Redington Long Pier for world-class fishing.

• The use of roller skates, roller blades, in-line skates, and skateboards is strictly prohibited in the building walkways, sidewalks, parking ramps and garage.

• Do not feed seagulls from the property.
• Park in assigned space for your unit. All vehicles must have parking permits displayed. Vehicles without a parking permit displayed are subject to towing at renters expense.
• Please be considerate of your neighbors and keep noise to a minimum during the hours of 11pm -8am. This is a private condominium or home and there are year round occupants that live in the building. While you are on vacation, they may not be.
• All trash is to be bagged and placed in garbage dumpster or proper containers.

Don't list this property again until it is remodeled..
This unit looked nothing like the pictures online. We have stayed at the Sea Rocket before in another unit and it was very pleasant. This unit is dirty and dated. Needs remodeling. If Sandy Beach is owner or represents owner, they need to inspect the property/unit. It's a 3rd world shanty. I was very embarrassed for my wife to see what I had selected for our vacation rental.

Email communication before and during the trip was great! I can’t say enough about the location. Your “backyard” is the beach. Full kitchen and refrigerator was great if you want to cook your own meals!

We stayed in an older condo,#2, but it was clean. Very friendly people and it's nice and quiet.. The bed could stand to be upgraded as it sinks in the middle,but it was comfy. Other then that,it was terrific. We'll be back!

Not too impressed or satisfied with Sandy Beach Rental management
I rented room 2 and it stunk really bad. I’m severely allergic and can tell when I’m around mold. I couldn’t fall asleep and started wheezing because of the moldy room. Had to use my inhaler twice and my voice began to fade. Almost lost my voice completely. I was a lot happier the next morning when they agreed to move me to a different - nicer room. However, the room I moved into wasn’t the cleanest. The floors were filled with sand and hair. I had to sweep it in order not to slip while walking around. I believe Sea Rocket could use better rental management in general.

Enjoyed the stay, except for departure (very hurried at 3:30 a.m.; had to catch an early flight), but that has nothing to do with the facility. Great beach, fun places to go. I practically grew up on Madeira Beach; can't wait to come back!
