The room was musty the whole time. Smelled like cigarettes and pee. Human pee. Also, rennovations going on on the third floor. That's just fine, but did you really have to put us on the second floor where they are doing work right in the room above us at 8am every morning.

Worst customer service ever
The hotel was going through a renovation on the floor above my room. Construction work going on all day every day of my stay. Construction workers broke a water pipe and it flooded my bathroom. Also, the hotel was without water. From 12-5 on Sunday with no advance notice, even though there was supposed to be no construction going on on Sunday. Also, I was told they were not gonna warn honor my Hotels.com reservation for one of the days of my stay. Said that it was not a guaranteed reservation. I was also charged more than the reservation rate.

Only downgraded grounds etc because post Helene were not totally "put back together". I'm sure it will get there as time and staff allow. The pool was not functioning - again the storm. But the staff more than made up for the deficits!

All was fine and the room refresh is very nice. Just very noisy hvac and when hvac was off the street noise was loud even as a guest on the 8th floor. May need to consider upgrading windows.
