Amenities

Amenities were very sparse. For 4 adults: No soap in the bathrooms. 1 bath towel per person for 4 days. 1 pillow per person on beds. 1 extra trash bag. 1 specific bag required to be used for recyclables - far too small. 1 extra roll of toilet paper in bathroom. 1 roll of paper towels. No Kleenex. Other than the amenities, it was a lovely place to stay.

Security cameras

There are security cameras in the driveway and patio side. We covered the patio side and the owner text and said it was for irrigation but neighbor said the line was broke and it never watered the whole month we were there. The patio set is rusty anyway. The landscape has weeds growing out of the bushes 2 to 3 feet high and pots of dead plants. You have to leave when running the dish washer or laundry since it is so loud. The master bed is very soft and uncomfortable. The golf cart gas gauge does not work and one strap is broke so only holds one set of clubs. The amenities lists a gas grill but there is not a gas grill. The overall house is fine and the location is awesome but because of the items listed, we would not stay here again.

The house was clean and had everything you would need to enjoy a week at the Villages. The 4 passenger golf cart was great and there was even a set of golf clubs that came in handy….

Very Nice

Very nice place. It came as advertised. Clean and comfy, the big plush towels were a nice plus. Evacuated from the storm so I texted the host early in case there were storm issues. A quick reply and no issues. From the area so knew the amenities but didn’t use them because of the weather. I would stay here again.

Terrific Villages Experience

This house is terrific. Great location. Immaculate. Well equipped. Even comes with a golf cart. Welcome book contains all necessary information to make for a wonderful stay. Owners very nice and accessible for and questions or advice. We look forward to return stays here whenever we visit family in the area.

We had a great time overall. We were visiting family in the area. This was a good location for us while visiting. The rental was well stocked we liked all the dishes and pots and pans. Washer and dryer came in handy also. If we visit the area again I would rent this property.

Overall it was a very nice home. Several things should be addressed by the owner: melted aluminum foil on the bottom of oven (food stated like metal), 1 of the 3 TV’s was broken, and one lamp (nearest to TV) had cracked socket) which created a safety issue. Other then those 3 issues we would definitely lease again.

Great value and good time.

For a couple who love the pool, this was great. Adult pool was just around the corner. Access to stores, restaurants, etc. on the RT466 corridor was excellent; Villages Squares by included golf cart ( other than Lake Sumter) a bit too far for us. The nightly music was really good and worth the car ride. The house was nice and well appointed; loved the reclining loveseats. Unfamiliar TV systems take a little time to figure out (master BR TV never worked). All in all though, a great value and a good time.

The owner was amazing and got back to us every time I texted within 30 minutes. Very clean place, great location. Make sure you use the golf cart. Its the best part of the whole vacation! We felt like little kids the whole time. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Photos are accurate. Minimal towels provided - 2 per bath and none for kitchen . Kitchen is well equipped. Carpets are dirty, kitchen floor only clean in the middle - edges are filthy, place needs a thorough cleaning. Beds quite comfortable and the golf cart v handy. Garage has curbs so that your car won’t fit in, just the golf cart. Master closet has one dim light bulb and few hangars, broken blind on the window - things aren’t being cared for but it probably was a good place at one time

Lovely accommodations but some miscommunications

Upon our arrival we were greeted by three bags of trash blocking our entry threw the front door. We’re 74 yrs old- enjoy coming back to our place and watch TV of our choice after an early evening out.We don’t enjoy the movies or many of the tv programs that are on today. Could not get cable tv or local news. have seen most all that we like on Netflix. Made contact with property manager who did help us get to a cable news channel but this was all old news over the last few years. We never watched any tv after that. Shower in one bathroom didn’t work so we had to allow for extra time to prepare to go out. One dish towel for a 5 day stay. Some of the remotes for the TVs had no batteries. This house is really quite nice. Perhaps because of difficulty getting cleaning staff it isn’t being maintained as well as it normally would be.

We were two couples from NY with two full size pickups. One truck fit in the driveway and one had to park on the narrow street. Neighbors were rude and the villages inspector showed up twice when my truck tire was 3 inches on the grass. Ridiculous, the villages never again.
