We stayed there because it was convenient 10 minute walk across the street to the Budweiser Stage for a concert. The CNE was also running and we entered with our concert tickets. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and check in and out was easy. Our room was very nice, beds were comfortable and the view of Lake Ontario and the island airport was beautiful. Working the light switches in the room was complicated but by pushing different switches the bathroom light eventually came on. The food was ok and expensive for what we got, although the service was very good and the servers were friendly and helpful.

Dreams do come true
I really enjoyed my stay and overlooking the lake was always a dream for me and I was grateful that the room was made available to me and made my dream come true. Only thing I found was that the doors to the rooms are very loud, I closed mine slowly so as not to cause that and ofcourse the alarm going off at 3:30 am which I understand cannot be helped and I do hope it was nothing serious. All in all I luved it there and especially my time at the CNE.

Check in was far from smooth. Took over 30 minutes. (Issue with credit card machine, issue identifying rewards level, issue with card deactivating) Stay included, needing security to resolve elevator issue 4am ish alarm.. where guests on higher floors exited hotel for almost an hour...standing outside in the cold) Manager or guest services did not check in on us.

Everything is far too expensive I went to dinner at Rose restaurant and I got 4 pieces of shrimp 5 cherry tomatoes cut in halves and a small buratta cheese ball for 48$ my partner got a shrimp cocktail with 4 shrimp the tiniest amount of cocktail sauce and his was 28$ super ridiculous.

When signing up on the Expedia site it says there is a pool table, table tennis and an outdoor roof top pool. No one tells you that to use the pool tables you need to be a ‘member’ and to use the pool outside you need to book it in advance. No one explained to me how to be a member or what that meant. On Expedia it says it is accessible. It was a clean hotel but far from downtown and shopping. We had to drive to downtown and pay to park there as well. I’m still mad that my daughter who wasn’t expected to be with us couldn’t swim. They couldn’t have cared less. I’m so disappointed and with the cost of this hotel we will not be staying here again and will continue to go to our old stand by in downtown. I’m just still so upset about the pool not being accessible unless you are an adult after 9pm. Tried to play pool later in the evening and you must be a member. I’m really not happy
