Our first time in Boston! Decided to celebrate our 34th anniversary at the Fairmont Coplay Plaza This hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect. You can literally walk everywhere! We got a room upgrade and front desk sent a bottle of champagne to the room. Our stay/trip was almost perfect!
On our last night at the hotel, my husband slipped and fell while getting out of the shower. I called front desk and they sent two staff members, one to check on my husband and the other one to investigate incident. The person who checked on my husband determined that he needed to go to the hospital and called for an ambulance. My husband decided to wait to come home (the following day) instead of going to the hospital.
The following morning, we went to the front desk to checkout and nobody knew about the incident, no one called us to check how he was doing or if we needed any assistance. To me, that’s not a good customer service. My husband was in so much pain and was unable to move his arm. He has a small fracture. A little more show of concern and consideration from the hotel staff would’ve been appreciated. After a few hours, he received an email from hotel apologizing for not checking on him earlier.
