Comforter cover looked like it had an old blood stain on it. There was an olive on the floor. Room was very noisey - easy to hear people in the courtyard below (we were on the 4th floor), easly to hear people in the hallway (sounded like they were in the room), TV for rooms next to us could be heard in our room. Heater was so loud when it went on it woke us up. Towels were nice and fluffy. Staff were wonderful.

This is a beautiful property with walkable access to the best parts of old Monterey. It is right by fisherman's wharf and a mile walk to Cannery Row.

Great get away!
Stay was great. Hotel was clean and felt very nice. Close to a lot of amazing restaurants. Only complaint was the shower gel was completely empty. Otherwise loved it.

We loved that the property was walking accessible to so many shops as well as Cannery Row. What we didn’t love was that the room was noisy. From the immediate neighbors to people walking the hallway. Super noisy!

This is always my first choice of hotels in Monterey, and I visit 2-3x per year. Can’t beat the location and convenience of this property and it’s great for kids. The pricing varies dramatically depending on what events are in town and if it gets much over $250 I’m looking elsewhere, but at that price and below it’s fantastic.
