Overall, my friend and I were very disappointed with our stay. Rydges Auckland clearly states that it has a minibar in guest rooms and a Pay for Movie service. When I asked they told me that they are no longer available!!! If I had known that was the case I would never have booked this hotel.It is still showing currently on your Expedia site and this is false advertising.Also, there was a large crack in the basin which we thought was unhygienic and no body wash left in the shower which wasn't replenished the next day until we rang housekeeping. So I won't be staying there again.

Didnt like dirty glasses and given back same dirty glass just wiped. Lightbulbs not working. No minibar but stated one in room. Was moved to another room and dealt with a lovely man raphael but still not even hamdwash. Ctazy noises when lights turned on and view of back of police area not a great outlook. Parking by the establishment stunk of urine and yuck. Upon arrival clerk grabbed my catd and charged me $100 wothout explanation, i had to ask why and found her quite rude and no.explanation of how to use lifts or what floor our room.on. was disappointed in experience especially when we dont go away often.

The room was nice - well-furnished, clean, and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. However, I was annoyed to have to pay a deposit/bond upon check-in. It felt unnecessary and added an extra step to the check-in / check-out process. Additionally, I was charged a surcharge for using my credit card, which was disappointing.
