Room was clean and modern. Nice bathroom. My only complaint is the restaurants close early, even though they state late. Late in New Zealand is 10pm. Don't expect to get food past that besides room service.

Excellent location, lots of restaurants, stores etc. nearby. Hotel staff were friendly, room was clean. Huge bed and the view of the city, habour was beautiful. Room service was very accommodating to special meal prep requests as well. No complaints, will definitely stay here again.

Because of the security problem my wife felt unsafe, we didn’t stay, and checked out at 9:30pm. Very very disappointing. More disappointing was the lack of communication from management, and the lack of understanding.

Room had loose lite bulb hanging from ceiling and also other lite bulb burnt out. Front desk and concierge staff have conflicting information about parking. 4 different answers about parking from them!! Manager “Katie” was extremely courteous and pleasant.

The room was nicely appointed, a good bed, nice bathroom, and cleanliness was to a high standard. Overall a nice hotel with good in-house dining options, and the Expedia Silver reward was definitely a good bonus. Close to main City activities and good for a business trip. There was only two small things: firstly with current works on the lifts it does mean you wait a while to get up and down, but nothing major. The second was my room had an adjoining room door, and whilst securely locked with a key, it did mean I could hear the children in the next room sometimes. Again not major, but would recommend avoiding rooms with adjoining doors.

A short but fantastic stay at The Grande. The room was amazing with spectacular views from the 18 th floor. Free parking and a food voucher made it an extremely affordable stay. Highly recommend.
